The Deaconess Board is made up of women who exhibit the same traits as those pointed out in   1 Timothy 3:11 for the wives of Deacons. Any woman in the Baptist church is qualified to be a Deaconess if she is the wife of a Deacon or Minister, or if she is a woman who shows by her life that she is dedicated to Christ.

Mission:    To uplift Christ in order to draw others unto Him.

Objective: To be a worshipping/witnessing fellowship for Christ in the home, church, community and abroad

The purpose of the Health and Wellness Ministry is to have information presented that will stress the importance of a healthy lifestyle.  Activities include:

• Medical/Health care professionals conduct workshops on various health issues.
• Provide workshops on Mental Health Awareness and Treatment.
• Develop a Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Medical and Mental Health Brochure
• Provide monthly health tips for church bulletin.

The mission of the Hospitality Ministry is to ensure that each person whether “sinner or saint” who walks through the church doors feel genuine love and a heart-felt welcome to worship and fellowship. Persons associated with this ministry must have a desire to serve others.  The goal of the Hospitality Ministry is to assist the Pastor in increasing church attendance and membership. 

The Missionary Society’s goal is to empower the members to carry out the Great Commission, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Some of the duties include: witnessing for Christ to unsaved persons, providing disaster relief assistance and volunteering at the Soup Kitchen.

The goal of the Music Committee is to spiritually enrich, inspire and attract others to the knowledge of Jesus Christ through music that glorifies God. Choirs include:

• Sunbeams/Tiny Tots (children age nine and under)
• Youth Choir (ages 10 and up)
• Senior Choir (adults who are professing Christians)
• Gospel Choir (adults age 20 and above who are processing Christians)
• Men’s Choir (male members who are professing Christians)

Serving in a support role, the Pastor’s Aid Board assists the Pastor through finances, prayers and encouragement and help to advance the Pastor’s spiritual development, equipping him to effectively meet the needs of the Shiloh Church family, Christian community and society. They also aid the Pastor’s wife in her role as ‘First Lady of the Church’.

The objective of the Senior Citizens’ Ministry is to:

• Maintain fellowship and communcation through phone calls
• Provide social interaction and educational opportunities through community outlings
• Prove cultural experiences by visiting different restaurants, attending plays and special movies.
• Special time each day for spiritual enrichment through Bible reading, prayer and meditation.
• Encourage physical enrichment by excercising three times weekley

The mission is to prepare willing Shiloh members to go out into the community to interact with and encourage persons who do not have a relationship with God to develop one and accept Him as their Savior.

The goal of the Sunday school is to amplify the truths of the total Word of God through biblical and doctrinal teaching of the scriptures.  The following activities enhances the achievement of this mission.

• Recruitment of parents and adults and involve them in planning of and participating in specialized and regular Sunday School activities.
• Encouraging parents visitation
• Attend annual Congress of Christian Education.
• Expand Community outreach to encourage youth not currently attending Sunday School to begin attending.

The Trustee/Brotherhood under the leadership of the Vice Chairperson of the Deacon Board consists of male members of the church.  They provide assistance to the Trustees and other auxiliaries.  The Brotherhood is also involved in community and missionary work. 

The User Board serves as the welcoming arm of the church and help facilitate the worship experience for members and guests.

This ministry addresses the concerns and challenges of young women and young men. Deaconess serve as spiritual mentors for the women, while the Pastor, Deacons and Trustees/Brotherhood work with the men.

The purpose of the Youth Department is to assist in fulfilling the mission of the church by leading young people to faith in God through Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. To empower young people to live a Christ-centered life and to be obedient to the Word, Work, Will, and Way of God.
